Steady Weight Loss - 4 Diet Myths Busted

When summer or high school reunion rolls around, everyone needs to shed those extra pounds to try out that strappy outfit or swimsuit. Tragically, steady weight loss is anything but a simple run. There are countless myths about getting fitter leading to prevailing weight loss fads that don't help you lose weight.

How about looking at four very well-known eating habits and fantasies that don't contribute to proper weight loss and can make you gain weight? How about we also explore what works when it comes to weight loss?

Weight Loss Myth #1: To lose weight, you need to eliminate all calories from your diet. The truth is, it leaves you with terrible cravings and lowers your metabolism, which makes losing weight very difficult. You can't stick to a diet like this and you'll end up undermining the eating routine, leading to weight gain that makes up for everything you've lost.

Weight Loss Myth #2: You want to boost your digestion, assuming you decide to eat a few small dinners each day. This will stimulate your digestion and make you lose weight faster. Truly normal weight loss comes from consistently cutting calories to some degree. However, if you assume that you consume 2500 calories in one meal a day or spread them throughout the day, you continue to eat this large amount of calories and you will not be in good shape. How you consume changes how you shape your body. Assuming you have a body with lots of lean muscle, you will sustain steady weight loss faster than if you have lots of fat on your body. Ultimately, you want to exercise every day to boost your digestion and change your body's organization to put on enough mass that burns fat faster.

Weight Loss Myth #3: Fat is terrible for you, so stick to a fat-free eating routine. This is an absurd exaggeration. Although fat-free foods are always famous in supermarkets, you should try to understand that there are such an amazing concept as good fats and that your body cannot do without healthy fats. You want to eat a diet rich in normally fat-free food sources like produce or vegetables, but don't forget to balance fish and nut fats in your diet as well. Stay away from trans fats, which are strong at room temperature, and focus your diet more on eating healthy than burning fat.

Weight Loss Myth #4: Milk and dairy products help a person get leaner. This is a dairy industry advertising ploy and completely bogus. Milk has many impurities and is full of unfortunate fats. The calcium contained in dairy products can contribute to normal weight loss, it is also found in soy milk or green vegetables.
